I've been at the range and used these. MUCH better than your hand sliding down the ramrod or using the palm of your hand to make sure the bullet is seated all the way. M ade in my wood shop in the back yard. I use birch & other hard woods because of how durable the wood is. All have a solid brass threaded insert in the wood. Then a 10-32 304 SS stud is parentally installed. None of the studs or inserts are removable. 3 Models - 2" - 1-1/2" - Mushroom 1-1/4"x1-1/8" Each one is hand rubbed with several coats of Danish Oil for protection from the elements. And it looks nice. No two of these are the same due to the different in the grain of the wood. Some are dark and some are lighter. The 304 stainless steel threads are 10-32 and will fit most muzzle loader rods like T/C, CVA, Traditions & Lyman Ramrods. The studs are all around 1/2" (+/- .0000000001" 😂) long coming out of the wood palm savers. Length fits my T/C ramrods with no problems. Check your depth by using a toothpick to be sure it will clear. If not tell me what you need. When using this, screw it all the way down until the wood ball touches your ram rod. This will protect the threads of your ramrod. Not designed to pull stuck bullets out of your barrel. My ram rods are not included . I had someone complain he didn't receive a ram rod.
