Description

Some of you may be familiar with the Moose Snot recipe that has been circulating around the internet for the past 2 decades. The original poster of that recipe knew what he was doing, and that recipe is very close to the recipes used by Long hunters, Pioneers, Fur Trappers, and Frontiersmen. This is not Moose Snot. This is Grandpa's recipe that uses all natural ingredients that would have been available 150+ years ago. This may be the closest to historical accuracy available on the market. Musket Glide is a beeswax-based grease/paste that you rub onto the bullet patch before ramming the lead ball down the muzzle. The metal container is a screw top to keep secured while in your pack and holds approximately 2 ounces. There is nothing in this that will spoil or go bad. I made my first batch in 2009 and I still have half an Altoids can from that batch that still works just like it did in 2009. Please keep in mind that this is a hand-made, hand-poured product. There may be slight variations in color and weight.
