This cross draw holster is hand made for an 1851 Navy, 1858 Army cap & ball revolver with a 7- 7 1/2" barrel, but will fit most medium or small frame revolvers as the bottom is open to fit any barrel length. This holster will fit medium frame S&W Model 28. Total length 10 1/2", 4 1/2" on the top and 2" wide on the barrel end. This is a right handed cross draw holster designed with the belt loop at a 30 degree angle so it is worn on the left side with the pistol butt facing the right hand. It will fit up to a 2 1/2" wide belt. The holster is hand sewn, double saddle sewn and made from stiff, 5 oz. brown leather. This has a 1 1/2" copper concho on the barrel end with a leather lanyard to loop over the hammer. Holsters can be form fitted by dampening and let the leather dry with revolver inside.
